"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart."

Dear mama, do your days look like this?

You wake up with a to-do list already forming in your head. But before you can even tackle the first item, you find yourself enduring toddler meltdowns, refereeing sibling squabbles, and dodging power struggles.

You move through your day in a constant battle against the clock — trying your best to not only navigate your many responsibilities but also give your kids the attention they crave and deserve.

Keeping your head above water is the best you can do, and when you finally collapse into bed at night, the waves of guilt start washing over you as you replay the day’s events in your mind…

I yelled so much.

I was so impatient.

I should have tried harder.

Or even worse, you may start to wonder…Am I really a good mom?

You feel guilt-ridden and overwhelmed, wishing things were different but not knowing how to break the cycle.

I get it, mama. I so get it.

You see, when we’re so focused on keeping our households running, we end up missing out on those precious yet fleeting moments we wish we had time for with our children…but didn’t.

Ouch.

It’s a painful realization. But living in survival mode is not what God wants for us or our kids.

The good news is — it doesn’t have to be this way.

I believe you can have a grace-filled home in the midst of parenting chaos.

Hey there, mama! I’m Kristine.

I’m a homeschooling mom of four, follower of Jesus, and creator of this grace-filled online community.

I believe that when you’re at the end of your rope as a mom, the last thing you need is for someone to point out all the things you’re doing wrong. Or to give you a giant list of parenting tasks to add to your already full plate.

That’s why this community is a guilt-free, no-judgment zone. You’ll find easy, practical tips you can apply to your daily life to build stronger connections with your kids and establish easy routines to make your home run more smoothly.

No perfection required.

…your kids are listening better and more cooperative because you’re connecting with them on a deeper level and building a stronger relationship with them.

…you handle disagreements and power struggles with more patience and grace. And the best part? The strong parent-child relationships you’ve been building helps everyone recover more quickly.

…you go to bed feeling relaxed and content, knowing that you’ve successfully accomplished what you set out to achieve — showering your kids with love and attention while running your household well.

I know how hard it is, because I’ve been there…

Like you, I’ve struggled through the various challenges of motherhood.

I would lay my head down on my pillow at night and cringe as I replayed the day’s events in my mind, counting all the ways I felt I had failed as a mother.

I knew there had to be a better way to do this whole parenting thing.

I prayed and asked God for wisdom and guidance, while reading everything I could get my hands on about parenting, discipline, and building deeper connections with my children.

I started to tune out all the conflicting parenting advice I had received from others and began to trust my newfound parenting knowledge and God-given motherly instincts.

And as I learned more and knew better, I did better. I started yelling less and connecting more. I found ways to implement simple habits and small changes that made our household run more smoothly.

And as a result, our family life became more peaceful and enjoyable.

Do I still make mistakes? Every day. But grace lives in our home.

Grace for my kids, who are growing and learning and sometimes have BIG emotions. And, grace for myself — oh, so much grace — for those times when I make less than stellar parenting choices.

I try to view failure as an opportunity to learn and a chance to do better next time. I’m more relaxed in my parenting now, trusting the Lord to fill in the gaps where I fall short.

"Grace-based parenting is a heart-activated plan that takes its cues from a daily walk with Jesus Christ."

You absolutely CAN be the mama you want to be…and I can help!

You’re not alone on this journey. There’s grace for you on your not-so-great parenting days, too.

Through the trials and triumphs I share with you here, you’ll find ways to have a grace-filled home in the midst of parenting chaos.
